Rune Lens ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Rune Lens handles your information on both the Android and desktop versions of the application.

1. Information We Collect

Rune Lens only collects the minimum data required to create and manage your account, specifically:

1.1. Account Information (Android version only)

If you create an account or log in using Rune Lens for Android, we collect:

• Email address (required for login and password reset)
• Password (stored securely as a hashed value via Supabase)
• Authentication tokens (used to keep you signed in)

Passwords are never stored in plain text.

Rune Lens does not collect any additional personal data.

2. What Rune Lens Does NOT Collect

Rune Lens does not collect or store:

• Summoners War account information
• Gameplay data
• Screenshots
• Images captured via OCR
• Device identifiers
• IP addresses
• Contacts
• Location data
• Advertising data
• Analytics data
• Cookies or tracking profiles

All rune OCR happens locally on your device and is never transmitted or stored remotely.

3. How We Use the Data We Collect

We only use the minimal information collected (email + hashed password) for:

• Creating your Rune Lens account
• Allowing you to log in
• Resetting your password if requested
• Securing access to the app's features

We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, ads, or analytics.

4. Where Data Is Stored (Supabase)

Rune Lens uses Supabase as its backend authentication provider.

Supabase securely stores:

• Your email
• Hashed password
• Authentication tokens

5. Data Security

We take security seriously:

• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
• No plaintext passwords are stored
• Authentication tokens are securely issued
• No sensitive data is stored locally without encryption
• We never transmit OCR screenshots to any server

All processing related to runes (OCR, scoring, overlays) happens locally on your device.

6. No Sharing of Your Information

Rune Lens will never:

• Sell your data
• Share your data with advertisers
• Transfer your data to third parties
• Use your data for marketing
• Track or profile you

The only third party that ever handles your data is Supabase, strictly for authentication.

7. Children's Privacy

Rune Lens is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
If a parent believes their child has created an account, they may contact us to request deletion.

8. International Users

Supabase may store authentication data on servers located in the United States or Europe, depending on configuration. No other data is transmitted or transferred outside your device.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

You may request your account to be deleted at any time.

When an account is deleted:

• Email and password hash are permanently removed from Supabase
• No game data or OCR data exists anywhere on our servers
• Deletion is irreversible

Users can request deletion via email or visit our account deletion page.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If Rune Lens introduces new optional cloud features (e.g., syncing settings, subscriptions), this Privacy Policy will be updated.
We will always disclose what data is collected and why.
